benq 360 drive

is the benq 360 drive compatible with my Nvidia4 chipset?
I want to flash my xbox 360 and i was wondering if i can flash a benq drive on my pc? wich has a ASUS A8N-SLI SE motherboard wich i believe has a Nvidia4 chipset, and if i just try without being sure if its compatible can it destroy my drive. ? thx in advance
Not sure exactly, but it was compatible with my Nforce6, and I have read Nforce4 generally works. Make sure legacy SATA/RAID is turned on in the BIOS.
Just trying it will not do any harm at all. If you have it set to stop at the BIOS in the beginning (where it tells you to press F1 to continue, after listing all the connected components, like dvd drives and harddrives) do this to check: turn on the Xbox, then turn on your computer. You should see your drive listed as one of the connected devices in the BIOS. If so, you should be good.
Otherwise, just try what the guides say. The very worst that will happen is that it won’t be recognized.
