benq 360 drives
360 BenQ drive slower than previous drives?
My brother and I now have an 360 each as I have bought one myself a few days ago and he having his since Christmas 2008.
I began to rip games into my HDD, but began to notice something.
The games are ripped at a slower pace in this 360 than my brother’s!
I checked the drives and saw that my brother’s was a Samsung and mine was a BenQ.
One case in point being Saints Row 2 (to rip whole to HDD):
Samsung–10 mins or less
BenQ–40 mins or more
NOTE: We both have 20 gig HDDs.

I have a BenQ and it only takes about 10-15 mins for games. Must just be the console. They wouldn’t put a slower disk drive in the 360.
