benq flashing firmware
help with banned modded xbox live.?
well… got my xbox flashed a few weeks ago but got banned last week.
it is a BENQ drive.
when i try to play the new COD the disc wont load on my xbox but works on my brothers xbox.. a few people have said something about firmware but i dont really understand the technical talk..
is there anyone who could explain to me the process of what i need to do please?
and also what amount of memory is the best to get to be able to save a profile onto and a couple of games?
my brothers having the banned xbox once iv sorted the disc problem out and he needs a memory card,but doesnt want to get a 20GB if a smaller one would be alright.

You need the newest firmware of iXtreme 1.61. You should be able to get it cause Samsung/Ben Q drives are allowed to have it.
If you don’t want the firmware updated, you could use a thing called “One shot bootup disc”. This will allow you to place this disc (one shot bootup disc), it will load up, then you eject it out and place the COD MW 2 game inside.
All of the newer games out have Wave 4 format in the disc, so any game you see out now has Wave 4 and requires firmware update or one shot boot up disc.
