Future proof gaming PC for $900?

Hi I decided to get a $900 PC from www.whirlpool.com so I can future proof a little. Do you guys think that these are a good choice for around $900? I don’t mind if you guys give a suggestion and it goes over $900 as long as it’s worth every penny. I just want the best money saving way to future proof my PC. I already chose what monitor, keyboard and mouse I’m going to buy. All the parts are going to be ordered from static ICE and msy and I’m going to overclock so could you check if my case is cool enough?. Thanks a bunch :)

$900 AMD Box: updated 26/06/09

CPU: AMD AM3 Phenom II x2 550BE $139
Motherboard: Gigabyte MA770-US3 $103
RAM: Kingston 4GB DDR2-1066 (HyperX) $91
HDD: Western Digital 640GB 16MB SATAII $88
GPU: Inno3D 896M GTX260+ (core 216) $242
Case: Antec 300 $101
PSU: Vantec ION2+ Ultra Quiet SLI 520w $81
Optical Drive: Samsung 20x DVD-RW SATA $35

Total: $880
Monitor: 22″ BenQ e220hd 2ms
Keyboard: Logitech Wave
Mouse: Logitech MX518
Speakers: Logitech X-230

I suggest you look at an ATI 4870 for better performance. If you want to save some cash better buy an ATI 4770 card. I suggest a Phenom2 X4 for better future proofing as in the future games will run better with more cores. This system will run well enough for gaming to rival any intel system with similiar specs. However i suggest you switch to an intel corei7 920 if you have the budget. Have a good day! Make sure you get atleast a 600W PSU
