The high GPU temperatures, please help me: (?
Ok, so I have a BenQ S42 notebook with NVIDIA 9600M GT graphics card. The temperatures are so high! For example, idling at 80c and when playing The Sims 3 with all time hit the center of 100-110! OO. "Someone told me to change the fan speed. I downloaded RivaTuner and I could not change speed, using SpeedFan and could not change speed or even could change the NVIDIA Control Panel! I tried to remove dust from my gpu vacuuming vents, so nothing happened. I tried using a cooler, the temperature is only reduced to zero to 5 degrees __ ~ ~! PLEASE HELP! I do not want my laptop to die! : @ @ If this helps, these are my specs: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz, Cache 3 m (P8600 I think) RAM 3GB DDR2 NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT with 256MB GDDR3
Perhaps the fan is broke! first thing i would is to dismantle and check secone wattenry it and what looks like a good laptop with me!
