What is the best 1080p projector for around $ 1,000?
I've been looking at the Optoma HD20, BenQ Vivitek H1080FD and W100. if you have other suggestions please leave a comment. I want to be able to play Xbox 360 and PS3 as well.
I saw the Optoma HD20 and it's great. Have you ever seen a DLP projector? If not, you should ensure that there is "rainbow" … especially during the action sequences or scenes with strong contrast. If not then the Optoma HD20 is a high $ 999. If you do, then you can expect two or three days … or maybe a week … CEDIA and after seeing what Epson did with their prices on their older products. Maybe super sweet offers an LCD projector. Optoma HD20, but it looks fine, if a rainbow does not bother you. Vivitek seemed too … however, seen the BenQ. Good luck!
