WILL ixtreme 1.51 games on new ixtreme 1.61 dvd drive BENQ work – XBOX 360!?
I have games that I used to play on my xbox 360 that was flashed with ixtreme 1.51. They worked fine. I have flashed to 1.61. I put my disc in and I get this message “Put the disc in an xbox 360 to play the game.” Is this because my games are patched for the old ixtreme version?
or is this because my dvd drive is screwed up? Thanks for the input.

Your games aren’t patched to work on a selected firmware. They should work fine on iXtreme 1.61 unless you are trying to play a game that is a different wave.
I don’t think it’s bricked so try this this:
-Download a program called dosflash
-Connect your drive and read it with dosflash
-Use the key that it detects
If that doesn’t work then you might wanna have someone who has experience flashing 360′s flash it.
