sales tax on shipping?
I live in Canada. I ordered a Benq projector United States had recently sent a place in upstate New York. Their site says they do not charge sales tax on items shipped from New York, but I have been charged sales tax on the subject. When I contacted Benq said it was charged sales tax because my credit card was out of the United States. Is that logical? Asked many items in the same way and was never charged sales tax before. I contacted Benq after sending the request and the person I spoke to, who have not yet sales tax in New York. They said he was charged because of my credit card is a card outside the U.S.
possible, in the meantime of its past so that the company has established a link in the state that did not exist before, and in general, if there is a link to the State will be charged sales tax
